SONOMA, California

Scribe is a truly impressive operation.  Scribe mirrors the significance of Meinklang; a multi-dimensional wine business that shows it is possible to achieve scale without sacrificing thoughtful farming and clean winemaking.  Founded by the brothers Mariani, Scribe is a picture-perfect modern Sonoma winery established on the footprint of one of California’s historic, pre-prohibition vineyards to which the first plantings of Riesling in the US can be attributed.  They churn out an impressive 200,000 bottles of wine a year, all of them spontaneously fermented and vinified without additions other than sulfite.  This is natural wine writ large making effortless and unfailingly attractive wines.
