SWICK

NEWBERG, Oregon

Oregon native Joe Swick has been refining his idiosyncratic negoçiant winery for years, settling into a cellar rhythm that is dependable but leaves enough room for creative play.  As a result, Joe's wines are captivating to nerds and noobs alike with unusual blends, lots of whole-cluster fermentation and a house style that leans towards the festive.  Joe’s story began in the wine section of an organic foods market and took him on a journey across the globe with formative experiences working for pivotal producers like Dirk Nieport in Portugal. Joe’s winery is located not far from Portland and he purchases fruit from both Washington and Oregon.
